Guests of the Landmark Townhouses will also enjoy the luxury of underground heated parking for one vehicle per rental unit, a convenience store, and laundry facilities on site. This property is located just 150 yards from the Vail Eagle-Bahn Gondola and children's ski school. Shuttle service to Vail Village or Beaver Creek is within walking distance and many shops and restaurants on Lionshead Mall are also just a pleasant stroll away. **Major construction is scheduled to start in the Lionshead Village April 4, 2005, and will continue until Fall of 2007. It is possible that construction will be happening at or nearby this resort. After more than a decade of planning, this billion dollar investment will make guests stay in Vail better than ever. Construction is scheduled Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Every effort will be made to accomodate guests, and guests will continue to have access to all Lionshead stores, mountain operations, restaurants, and lodging properties. Additionally, Destination Resorts is taking advantage of the opportunity to run a special "Kidstruction Zone" for children during this time in which children will learn about different aspects of building, construction, science, design, and art.** The Landmark Townhouses offer spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom and two-bedroom plus loft, two-bathroom accommodations with numerous amenities and a warm, cozy decor. Each unit has a private balcony with BBQ grill, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, cable TV/VCR, and daily housekeeping service during ski season. Driving Information

610 West Lionshead Circle, Vail, CO - From Denver International Airport: Take Pena Boulevard to I-70 West. Stay on I-70 West approximately 120 miles. Get off the main Vail Exit #176. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right to enter the roundabout. Follow the roundabout under the Interstate and get off the roundabout at Lionshead/South Frontage Road. (If you miss this road, do not back up - continue on around the roundabout and you will come back to it.) Stay on the South Frontage Road (heading West) for approximately 3/4 mile. Turn left on West Lionshead Circle, located at the base of the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Interstate. Turn left again immediately into the parking lot in front of the Landmark building and drive to the (far) end of the parking lot. Check in at the Landmark front desk. From the Eagle Airport: Take I-70 East approximately 40 miles. Get off at the main Vail Exit #176. At the end of the exit ramp, take the turn-off for Lionshead/South Frontage Road. Stay on the South Frontage Road (heading West) for approximately 3/4 mile and follow the directions above for your check-in location.
